Achievements 2003
Client:
Public Works and Government Services Canada
Challenge:
Each year, Public Works and Government Services Canada publishes an
overview of the projects that have enhanced the quality of life for Canadians.
Delta Media was asked to design and produce their annual report entitled
“Achievements 2003”.
The challenge involved representing the efforts of a workforce comprised
of builders and buyers, architects, engineers, environmental scientists,
business and finance experts, auditors, translators and interpreters,
management consultants, real estate specialists and IM/IT experts.
Project:
- Our creative team designed a unique and colourful layout that emphasized
how these experts helped build a stronger Canada by contributing to
government, working in communities, advancing e-government processes,
protecting the environment and sharing their expertise around the world.
- We worked closely with the Corporate Relations editorial team to determine
and source all of the photography that complimented this dynamic design.
- The cover image featured a striking adaptation from the interior
floor design at the new Military Family Resource Centre in Toronto and
was the inspiration for the inside layout.
Result:
The printed result was a marquee publication that brilliantly illustrated
the PWGSC achievements for 2003 while highlighting how they support the
Government of Canada’s key priorities
