Bernard Gauthier, M.A., President
Bernard's
career encompasses 15 years in the public, private and national association
sectors. After joining Delta Media in 1994, Bernard founded and became
president of Vision Research in 1996. A leader in qualitative
and quantitative research, he has developed and continues
to refine methodologies for evaluating Web sites that have
been applied to many of the Government of Canada’s
most prominent sites. Fluently bilingual, Bernard holds
a Bachelor’s
degree from Concordia and a Masters degree in communications from
Carleton University. He is also a sessional lecturer in advertising
and public relations at Carleton University in Ottawa.
Candace
Fedoruk, Senior Counsel
An
experienced practitioner of qualitative techniques, Candace has provided
marketing and research consulting to a variety of marketing, social policy,
health, sport, professional and financial organizations. Candace's undergraduate
studies were followed by graduate studies in sociology at the University
of Alberta, and research methods at the University of Michigan. She has
provided expertise in projects ranging in scope from focus groups to thousands
of interviews and conducts website qualitative research as senior counsel
with Vision Research Inc. She specializes in business-to-business, customer
satisfaction measurement, and communications research.
Nyree St. Denis, Consultant
Nyree joined Vision Research in 2001, bringing a thorough knowledge of research design and analysis. Since her arrival at Vision Research, she has worked as key member of the qualitative analysis team. She has helped develop research programmes on behalf of a number of government clients including the Senate of Canada, Industry Canada and Natural Resources Canada. Nyree has also had extensive experience conducting one-on-one interviews with key government employees, consumers and businesses and has moderated a number of focus groups, including those with employees and youth. She is an active member of the Canadian Public Relations Society, is bilingual and graduated with distinction from the Communications program at the University of Ottawa.
Shelley Cundell, Research/Account Coordinator
As Research/Account Coordinator, Shelley provides technical support
to Delta Media and Vision Research clients. Using her extensive software
experience, she creates and formats presentations and reports to ensure
a highly professional look. Shelley's strong organizational and client
service skills are an asset as she coordinates logistics for a number of
projects, including focus group discussions. With several years of experience
in office administration, Shelley also assumes a number of internal administrative
duties, and oversees the company's IT services. Shelley is fluently bilingual,
holds a degree in Automated Office Management from Herzing College, and
has successfully completed the Fundamentals of Market Research course from
the Professional Marketing Research Society.
