Vision Victories: Insight in Demand!
Vision Research continues to build its reputation as a leading health care research firm.
An important new client who has turned to Vision Research for qualitative and quantitative research includes the Academic Health Council (AHC), which commissioned Vision Research to conduct a pioneering two-year study to investigate the forces that foster or hinder interprofessional healthcare and health education in the Eastern Ontario region. The study will gather input from health professionals, health administrators, health educators and patients using a blend of focus groups and surveys.
On a national level, Vision Research was selected by the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) to conduct a series of focus groups with physicians, pharmacists, diabetes educators and patients on two topics related to diabetes management. The first set of findings from our work will help CADTH refine the key messages which they will use to communicate the results of an expert review process on the topic of insulin substitutes also known as insulin analogues. A second set of findings will serve as the basis for a new review process CADTH is currently undertaking on the topic of blood glucose test strips.
