Delta Media Abroad: Delta Media´s President Participates in Businesswomen´s Trade Mission to Jamaica and Barbados
Participants in international Trade Mission
Delta Media´s President, Sheena Pennie, recently participated in a trade mission for Canadian businesswomen organized by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada to Jamaica and Barbados. Held from January 20 to 25, 2008, the mission was led by the Hon. Helena Guergis, Secretary of State (Foreign Affairs and International Trade) and focused on opportunities in the following sectors: Education and Training; Environmental Services and Technologies; Information and Communications Technologies (ICT); and International Human Resources.
The Canadian delegation visited Kingston, Jamaica and Bridgetown, Barbados. This is the second Trade Mission to which Sheena has been invited. She attended the first-ever Trade Mission for Canadian businesswomen held in Washington DC in 1997.
